Admiral Nirmal Verma, Chief of Naval Staff, Indian Navy and Admiral Noman Bashir, Chief of Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy attended Sri Lanka Navy’s 60th Anniversary (December 09, 2010) Celebrations at Colombo.
This provided a rare opportunity to both Naval Chiefs to meet each other (face to face) in the presence of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe.
