Sri Lanka Army on June 14, while conducting search and clearing operations recovered a mini submarine from the Vellamullaivaikkal coast, Mullaittivu. The 24 feet long, 4 feet height submarine was most probably used by the senior cadres of LTTE, for their underwater movements during the final phase of war on terrorism.
