The 55th London International Boat Show (LIBS) 2009 is getting ready to start on January 09. LIBS_2009

Some of the interesting features of LIBS 2009 are:

  • to be held at ExCeL London, the international exhibition and conference centre.
  • over 500 exhibitors are to showcase power and sail boats, dinghies, deck equipment, charter holidays, sailing courses and more.
  • over 130,000 people are expected to attend.
  • to conclude on January 18.

China Plans for Underwater Observation Station

Update: January 20

The Boat Show, which is the largest marine exhibition in London concluded on January 18. The Show hosted more than 500 exhibitors and showcased hundreds of boats, ranging from 1.4 metre sailing dinghies to 37 metre tri-deck motor yachts. Overall attendance at the Show was around 112,000, 12 percent below that of 2008, which is a fantastic result considering the challenging economic conditions. Read more from London Boat Show.
