
The first edition of Port and Ship International India 2008 (PSI) exhibition was inaugurated at Mumbai today. PSI is an international exhibition and conference to promote shipping, shipbuilding, ship technology, maintenance and repair, ocean engineering, marine offshore technology, port and terminal technology and equipment.
As Indian Maritime Industry is heading for a sea change, PSI is exploring global opportunities for marine, shipping, shipbuilding, ports and logistics, manufacturers and service providers.
The Port and Ship International India 2008 (PSI) exhibition was attended by some of the prominent personalities like:
- Pritam Kumar Shegaonkar, Minister of State for Housing Social Justice and Ports, Government of Maharashtra.
- Arun K. Mago, Chairman - Advisory Council, Port and Ship International India.
- Dr. Stephen Hesselmann, Head, Maritime Department, Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Germany.
- Inspector General R Singh, PTM, TM - Commander, Coast Guard Region (West)
