The first ever strike by Maritime and Coastguard agency staff is to take place on March 06, after backing action in a row over pay. Around 700 employees are expected to participate in strike. Emergency calls and operations at 19 UK Search And Rescue Co-ordination Centres are likely to be affected. However the strike is not applicable to staff who are on emergency duties.
