Today is Tiruvalluvar Day. Tiruvalluvar a great Tamil Poet, who lived as early as 200 BC or as late as 800 AD is always remembered for his Two line Tamil Couplets known as Tirukkural. Tirukkural is having 1330 two line couplets in 133 chapters distributed in three sections. Tirukkural in a simple way explains how to live in this world.
As a mark of respect to this great Tamil Poet, a 133 feet statue was erected in Kanyakumari in India where Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal merge together.
